COVID Tests Available
We know you’re busy – and that you’re just here for a COVID test. So, we aim to make things fast, efficient, and safe. We will try our best to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
You can choose from the following COVID tests:
- Rapid antigen(nasal swab) test, with results available within 15-30 minutes
- PCR(nasal swab) test, with results available within 24-48 hours
- Antibody(blood) test, with results available within 24-48 hours
If you’re coming in for a COVID test, please come inside to the front desk to register first. You may also wish to download, print, and bring a completed intake form with you to the front desk. All registrations must be done in person.
COVID Test Results
In order to access your results please provide your email address on the requisition. Without your email address we will not be able to provide you with your result.
Once your sample is received by Genesis Laboratory you will receive an email stating that your test has been received. In this email you will also be given a unique token number to access your result.
When your results are available (please allow 24-72 hours) you will receive a second email directing you to https://genesislab.labcollector.online/extra_modules/lsmremote/ . On this page you will then input the token number that you received in the first email to retrieve your token number is a one time use so you will want to save your report, otherwise you will be required to request a new one.

If you are in respiratory distress, that is considered a medical emergency – please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room right away.
You should be tested if you may have come into contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms, you have COVID-19 symptoms yourself, or if you belong to a high-risk group. High-risk patients include older adults and anyone with chronic medical conditions, such heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, etc.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the following signs and symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
If you develop signs or symptoms that indicate a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately. Do not wait! Signs and symptoms of a medical emergency may include:
- Difficulty breathing
- Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- New confusion or inability to arouse
- Bluish lips or face

No. Since COVID-19 is a viral infection, it cannot be treated with antibiotics.
We take the health and safety of our patients and staff very seriously. At My Doc Urgent Care in Garfield, New Jersey, we are following all appropriate precautions to help prevent the spread of infection at our clinic. Our staff is trained on the appropriate care for patients with coronavirus symptoms, and we have a considerable supply of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a sufficient quantity of disinfectant, masks, and other medical safety gear.
What you can expect when you visit us:
- Face masks that completely covers the nose and mouth are required for everyone while in our clinic – that includes patients and staff alike. Please keep your mask on unless otherwise advised by one of our medical providers.
- Social distancing is observed where possible.
- Cleaning protocol: Patient rooms and other communal areas are regularly sanitized.
- Hand sanitizer is available for your use at various locations throughout the clinic.
For the safety and protection of the staff and other patients, no COVID testing or suspected coronavirus cases will be seen inside the clinic. Patients coming for a COVID test are seen at a temporary VIP drive-through window at the rear entrance to the building.
